Trekking ยท Mount Kilimanjaro
Scenic, Quiet and Built for Acclimatisation
The Lemosho Route is the connoisseur’s way up Kilimanjaro: a western approach through untouched rainforest onto the open Shira Plateau, joining the busier southern trails only on day four. Colobus monkeys, giant lobelias and uninterrupted views of Kibo come as standard.
This seven-day itinerary adds one full mountain day over the standard six โ a night at Moir Hut โ which measurably improves acclimatisation and summit success without adding a second week to your trip.
- Panoramic western approach with very few other trekkers
- Extra mountain day for gradual altitude gain
- Lava Tower, the Barranco Wall and the crater rim
- 3 porters per climber, head guide with assistant
