Jambiani has stayed a working village rather than a resort strip. Women farm seaweed on the reef flats at low tide, fishermen launch dhows at dawn, and you can walk the whole beach without hitting a wall.

Arrival – Zanzibar Airport to Stone Town
Met at the airport and transferred to your Stone Town hotel, with the rest of the day free to explore the waterfront and settle in.

Day 2
Full Day in Stone Town
A guided walking tour of the old slave market site, the House of Wonders and the Sultan’s Palace, followed by an afternoon boat excursion to Prison Island and its giant tortoises.

Day 3
Stone Town to Jambiani Beach
Drive east across the island to Jambiani, check in and spend the afternoon on the beach, with an optional village walk to see everyday Zanzibari life up close.

Days 4–5
Jambiani Beach
Two full days at the lagoon — snorkelling, kayaking and paddleboarding at high tide, and at low tide a walk out onto the reef flats to meet the women who farm seaweed for the village economy.

Departure
A final breakfast overlooking the lagoon, then the transfer back across the island to Zanzibar International Airport for your onward flight.
