Arrival – Zanzibar Airport to Stone Town
Met at Zanzibar International Airport and transferred to your Stone Town hotel, with the evening free for a first wander through the historic district.
Two nights in Stone Town for the history — carved Zanzibari doors, the House of Wonders, the Sultan's Palace and Prison Island — then four at Nungwi on the island's northern tip.
Nungwi is Zanzibar's liveliest beach, and the only stretch where the tide barely retreats, so you can swim at any hour. It is also the island's dhow-building village, which is why the sunsets here come with a fleet of hand-built sailing boats in the foreground.

A full-day guided exploration of the old town including the House of Wonders and the Sultan's Palace, with an afternoon boat excursion to Prison Island and its giant tortoises.
Travel north to Nungwi and check in at your beach resort, with the rest of the day free for the sand and the sea.
Three unstructured days. Optional snorkelling and diving on the northern reefs, a dhow sunset cruise, village and dhow-yard tours, a Swahili cooking class and traditional taarab performances.
A final breakfast by the sea, then the transfer south to Zanzibar International Airport for your onward flight.
