Nungwi is Zanzibar's liveliest beach, and the only stretch where the tide barely retreats, so you can swim at any hour. It is also the island's dhow-building village, which is why the sunsets here come with a fleet of hand-built sailing boats in the foreground.
Met at Zanzibar International Airport and transferred to your Stone Town hotel, with the evening free for a first wander through the historic district.
