The Most Scenic Trail on the Mountain

Widely considered Kilimanjaro's most beautiful route, Lemosho approaches from the remote western side, climbing through pristine rainforest before opening onto the vast Shira Plateau with Kibo filling the horizon. For the first two days you'll barely see another group.

This eight-day version adds a night at Moir Hut and splits Barranco to Barafu across two easy days — the most generous acclimatisation profile we offer, and the reason it carries our highest summit success rate.

  • Kilimanjaro's most scenic and least crowded route
  • Longest acclimatisation profile — highest summit success
  • Crosses the full Shira Plateau with panoramic Kibo views
  • Includes Lava Tower and the Barranco Wall
